FirstCode.AI API docs
There are two ways to reach FirstCode.AI from code. Agents and integrations should use the MCP server. The GraphQL API is what our own apps run on.
Getting access
Both interfaces act as a signed-in person, so a person needs a FirstCode.AI account first. Accounts are set up with our team: sign-up is not self-serve today, and there is no free tier or public sandbox. An agent cannot create an account or get credentials on its own.
To get an account, contact us. If you already have one, sign in at home.firstcode.ai.
MCP server
The recommended route for AI agents. It covers tickets, boards, projects, agent runs and project notes, and signs in through OAuth. The FirstCode.AI MCP server page has the details.
https://mcp.firstcode.ai/mcpGraphQL API
The FirstCode.AI web app talks to this endpoint, and requests run with the signed-in person's permissions. We have not published a schema reference or a versioning policy for it, and it changes along with our apps, so build integrations on the MCP server where you can.
https://home.firstcode.ai/graphqlSDKs and CLI
We do not publish an SDK or a standalone CLI. Any MCP client can connect to the MCP server, which is the supported way to call FirstCode.AI from a terminal or an agent.
